Guests are collected from their Moshi or Arusha accommodation and travel through the northern Tanzanian countryside to Olpopongi for a visit hosted and interpreted by members of the Maasai community. After a welcome, the hosts introduce the village and museum areas, explaining the construction of a traditional homestead and the relationships between family life, cattle, food, clothing and ceremony.
