Unlike many roadside 'Maasai village visits', Olpopongi is a community-owned and community-operated cultural centre that presents Maasai culture with depth and dignity. You witness the adumu (jumping dance), learn about traditional medicine from the village healer, visit a traditional Maasai house (enkiama), understand cattle culture and its central role in Maasai society, and share a meal with community members.
